Great story here regarding the forthcoming launch of the Nissan Leaf and how owners will be able to track battery power remotely via an iPhone app.

I heard a stat recently that within a few years we'll spend more time online using mobile phones than desktop PCs. This is a great example of the versatility of mobile phone online apps.
